There were many interaction at the site of this tree. The curiosities from this site were very limited, but where it lacked in objects, it made up for with people. And in this case, an animal too. As has been recorded now frequently, the natural waste from dogs is one of the objects discovered at every location thus far mapped.

Nearing the completion of my service at the tree on Daly, I found myself deep in thought. This work in the BRONX is beginning to trigger some personal memories for me, and I will let my mind wander. My meditation was interrupted by sniffing and shuffling sounds very near to my body. Alarmed, I looked up to see a little dog. The dog was a little confused by me and was hesitant in his movements, but I could clearly see that it wanted to void its bowels on the tree I was about to finished clearing up.

The Human in charge understood the same thing and began pulling the dog away by the leash. Looking back, the dog gave me what seemed like a sly look, and raised its leg to urinate on my bag! Again with the leash pulling and cursing- but thank god, just in the nick of time.
