1. As I was clearing a particularly congested tree on Mohegan Ave between 180 and 181 (so far the site with the greatest amount of dogshit), I was approached by a little boy. It was the last day of spring break and it was a beautiful sunny day. This little fellow was trying to learn how to not fall off of his skateboard. I passed him and his family sitting on chairs in front of their tenement building. For a while the boy would skate over to me and stop- just watching what I was doing- then turn around and sit with his family. After about four times of this, he seemed to find his voice and asked me this question.

    Seeing his son engaged in conversation with me, brought over his father (whose curiosity was also piqued)…
